AdmissionFirst: General Conditions for Admission in College of Arts: Successfully passing the courses (college of Arts tracks) for first year of study. Getting GPA 3 out of 5. Second: Conditions of Majoring: Admission shall be according to higher GPA as per capacity. Year descriptionFirst year During this first year the students will study a broad range of subjects that will introduce them to various disciplines in the realm of the arts and humanities. This exposure will help them make an informed decision on what academic path they wish to pursue in the following years. They will earn 36 credit hours during this first year. Second Year Students begin to study specialized courses during this year such as: the principles of communication, mass media technologies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, communication theories, mass media and globalization. Third year During the third year the students will cover topics that include: mass media texts in English, public opinion and advertising, as well as management of media institutions. Fourth Year In the fourth and final year the curriculum will include topics such as: communication and mass media technologies, the art of photography, drama and criticism in radio and television and mass media institutions.
