Course Main Objective
- To define the developmental media workplace and its concept, aims, characteristics and strategies; role of mass media and means of communication in developing society and crisis resilience and further explain the regulatory framework of developmental media and any difficulties that hinder the process of development and how to deduce mechanism to confront them.
- To link between mass media and communication and their role in community development and crisis resilience.

- 2.1Employ mechanisms of media in enhancing the national comprehensive development.

- Theories of the developmental media
- The aims, functions and domains of developmental media.
- Role of the Saudi developmental media in the process of development and making change and spreading new ideas.
- Role of the media in enhancing the national comprehensive development (cultural, economic, educational, social, political, healthy...etc.,) in light of Vision2030.
- The difficulties that hinder national development
- Use of the traditional and digital means of communication in confronting problems of development in KSA and the Arab world.
- Media campaigns and planning for the developmental media.
- Societal, environmental and international variables affecting the developmental media in light of globalization and the challenges it raises in the Saudi and Arab media.
- The Arab mutual developmental media.
