Course Main Objective
The course aims to invest students' theoretical and practical skills to identify a project in field of printed and electronic newspapers and hence prepare, produce and issue materials in form of a printed or electronic newspaper or a research project.
Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
- 1.1Learn about the techniques of production and layout in journalism and electronic publishing and requirements of research projects.
- 2. Skills
- 2.1 Employ ways adequate to produce media material and use media methodology in field of journalism and electronic publishing.
- 2.2 Employ modern technology in producing and directing media material in journalism and electronic publishing as well as research projects.
- 3. Values
- 3.1 Submit research projects or printed and electronic newspaper according to professional code of ethics.
Course Content
- General revision of the most important aspects which student needs for the graduation project.
- Identify the requirements (6hours).
- Review the program aspect
- Review the methodology used in field of media and communication (12hours)
- Discuss project proposals
- Select project proposals (6hours)
- Submit the proposals (6hours)
- Follow up and supervise project development
- Discuss and assess the projects (18hours).
