Course Main Objective
To enable student to learn about the essential skills in radio and TV along with practical application in control room, use microphones and record and understand skills of indoor and outdoors shooting, the electronic montage and recognize methods of production services such as decorations, accessories, make-up, visual aids and electronic effects as well as the correlation of TV script to elements of visual expression.

- 2.1 Employ such skills as operating studios, devices in the control room, using microphones and recording and shooting.
- 2.2 Employ IT in field of radio and TV, production services, visual aids, electronic effects and correlation of TV and radio script with elements of the video and audio expression.

- 3.1 Practice the technical skills in radio and television according to the media professional ethics and media code of ethics.

- Plato, studio hall, control room or gallery, monitors room
- Revision of television shooting and lighting and quick review of the following:
- TV shooting- the concept of image
- Function of TV camera
- Functions of image
- Types of lenses used in TV cameras:
- The concept and types of TV shot
- Control room: work and operation
- Identifying contents of control room in TV studio, such as: audio console and sound table
- Electronic effects- sound effects
- Microphones- definition- types
- Sound supervisor and technician
- Radio and TV montage: definition of montage- the concept of montage- the importance of montage- types of montage
- Electronic montage in radio and introducing the most important modern electronic montage programs in radio and TV as a program.
