First year
( preparatory year )
The student teaches a full preparatory class in which she learns general English, mathematics, statistics, computer skills and application , physical and health education and communication skills
Second year
During the first semester, the student will study the requirements of the college which consists of a general composition in the basics of science in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology .
In the second semester, the students enrolled in the Department of Physics study the requirements of the Department such as Physics II (Mechanics and Waves), Mathematics II, Applied Statistics and some of the requirements of the University.
Third year
The student completes all the requirements of the Department of Physics and Mathematics which serve the specialized physical courses. The student then selects one of the four specialized tracks programmed within the physics department plan, namely physics and applied physics with its three branches of condensed matter physics, computational physics and biophysics.
Fourth year
It is considered the first year of specialization in one of the four tracks where all students study compulsory courses common to tracks such as modern physics and introduction to quantum mechanics, heat and statistical physics and others according to the path such as Electromagnetism, solid state physics, fundamentals of biophysics and some courses that serve the tracks and study By other sections such as introduction to programming using Matlab and organic chemistry. The student also studies some elective courses.
In addition, the student provides summer training for future fieldwork.
Fifth year
the student will study specialized courses in the fields of nuclear physics, solar cell materials and devices, biophysics, physical devices, techniques And the most basic concepts in computational physics.
The student will also present and discuss a scientific research project in accordance with her specialization within the graduation project.
