Objectives
The main objective of this course is to develop the students’ research skills and integrate this skill with practical outcomes. This experimental course depends on the past taken courses in electricity, magnetism and electronics. thus, it integrates the theoretical aspects with the practical experiments.
After this course, student should be able to:
- Describe the core concepts of electricity and magnetism, including the electric and magnetic fields.
- Recognize a basic knowledge in solid state electronics including diodes, transistors (BJT), operational amplifier and logical gates.
- Explain and develop good experimental technique to verify the laws of electromagnetism and DC circuits.
- Design, construct, and take measurement of various analog circuits to compare experimental results in the laboratory with theoretical analysis.
- Work with colleagues Collaboratively
Applications
Ohm’s law/ Kirchhoff’s laws/ Electrical transformer/ Mutual induction/ Characteristic of Diode/ Input & Control Characteristics of n-p-n BJT transistor/ inverting and non-inverting operational amplifier/ Digital circuits (logic gates).
