Description

The Neuroscience lab is designed as a free artifact area as the windows are covered to prevent the light and a wooden bed is used to eliminate the source of artifacts. The neuroscience lab provides extensive learning experiences for students, as continuous practice is ongoing during the semester under supervision to master the skills.

Objectives

  1. Learning how to operate the machine and work on it safely.
  2. Demonstrate the procedure in groups simulating as technician and patient based on the theoretical session.

Equipment and Tools

  1. EEG Machine to record the electrical activity of the brain.
  2. EMG Machine for nerve conduction studies.
  3. IOM Machine to monitor the patient intraoperatively 
  4. TMS Machine
