Committee Tasks

1. Set clear scientific standards for procedures and work to review and create study Programs.
2. Follow-up on the development and updating of undergraduate programs at the university and others in coordination with faculties and academic units.
3. Reviewing study programs referred to the committee in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation and submitting what is approved to the University Council for consideration.
4. Develop a schedule to update academic programs and ensure that they keep pace with the latest scientific developments in the specialization.
5. Cooperate with the concerned authorities at the university to complete the procedures for academic accreditation for programs and study plans.
6. Cooperate with the Deanship of University Education Development to provide the necessary training for the design of study programs and the preparation of program description documents and course descriptions.
7. Study the extent to which academic programs are compatible with national development needs, to take a decision regarding the modernization, creation, or discontinuation of some academic programs.
8. Consider the special conditions set by the colleges for admission to the college or the differentiation in choosing a major.
9. Review the systems and regulations related to study and examinations, recommend any amendments to the university council that serve the educational process at the university.
10. Studying the topics referred to the committee by the university administration.
