Overview
The Department of Nursing Education is one of the academic areas that provide a high standard of clinical training and academic activities. The students will master communication, teaching, management and leadership skills.
Philosophy
The philosophy of the Department is congruent with the philosophy of the College of Nursing and Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University as a whole. The philosophy of the Department is that a rigorous education prepares the graduates to pursue a career as a generalist nurse or take on a more specialized nursing role or even become a nurse scientist, all the while maintaining their cultural, social and religious identity.
Objectives
The objectives of the Department are to:
- Develop the students' leadership and supervision capacities.
- Enhance the educational skills to provide advice on various health conditions.
- Determine the basic principles of communication and teaching skills.
