Welcome to the website of the College of Clinical Pharmacy at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.

Since its establishment in 2012 and the enrollment of the first batch of male and female students in 2013, the college has been striving to be "a preeminent college of pharmacy recognized in pharmacy practice education, pharmaceutical services and research." In order to achieve this, efforts were concerted to "provide high-quality pharmacy and research education to serve patients and the community," taking into account the importance of equality as a fundamental value in dealings between all faculty members, technicians, employees and students. The college also emphasized the spirit of teamwork as a pillar for achieving the college’s goals at all educational and administrative levels. Attention was also paid to utilizing the creative ideas of the college’s employees and students to help achieve the goals and exploiting those ideas as part of our responsibility towards society.

The College offers a six-year bachelor program in Clinical Pharmacy – PharmD. The study plan is characterized by diversity and balance between all areas of pharmacy with a focus on the clinical aspect in the fourth and fifth years, followed by the sixth year which is entirely devoted to clinical training. Thus, the graduate of the program becomes fully prepared to work in all areas of the pharmacy profession, such as hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, community pharmacies, poisons and drugs control centers, research centers and others.

The college is also working on establishing postgraduate programs in areas such as clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, drug control and quality, given the region’s need for such programs. We are confident that college is capable, with its qualified faculty members and well-equipped research laboratories, to start these programs soon.

The college was able to make local agreements and partnerships to support the educational process at the college, conduct collaborative research, and provide community services.

We intend to expand the circle of these partnerships to include regional and international bodies.

As we always strive for development and improvement, we will be more than happy to hear from you and receive your valuable suggestions.

Thank you

Prof. Asim Al-Ansari
Dean
