It gives me immense pleasure and pride to serve as Dean of the College of Business Administration (CBA) at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU). Over the last two years, IAU moved up in the world ranking classification table from 581st - 590th group in 2019, to 541st - 550th group in 2020 in the world ranking results released by QS. In the last five consecutive years, IAU moved up seven positions among Saudi universities ranking, where it was ranked at 13th position in the year 2015 to 6th position in 2020.
Since the first group of business students began their studies in 2012, the CBA has experienced a remarkable growth; today it is a premier business school in the Eastern Province, offering three undergraduate majors and two graduate programs, to prepare its students for long-lasting and successful professional careers in a variety of industries.
I would like to mention here the unmatched progress that CBA has made in just a few years. This is due to the continuous support by the IAU administration, dedication of CBA administration towards establishing academically enriched programs closer to the needs of the job market, as well as to the nation's requirements for specialized professionals in the fields of business, accounting, finance, banking, and information systems.
Along with its growth, CBA and its outstanding faculty have gained an excellent academic reputation, not only in the region but also internationally. The CBA is a member of AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and accredited by national accreditation bodies, including NCAAA. A pivotal strength of the college is the cross-cultural environment, which provides all participants with an enriching learning experience. The faculty members supporting this program are highly qualified, with diverse academic and research backgrounds, and are also members of internationally recognized accrediting bodies.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with CBA’s outstanding faculty members, staff, students, and alumni, toward achieving pre-eminence in business education, research, and practice. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous deans for the well-established learning bases and to thank those faculty members and staff for their valuable time.
Welcome to CBA and I wish that each CBA student will have a lifetime experience with us
