PhD in English Language and Literature

The PhD Program in the English Language began in the 1984-1985 CE/1404-1405 AH/ academic year and the Department of English Language has been granting PhD’s to women who have later gone on to conduct research as well as teach at UoD. 

The English Language program has two specializations:

16 study units + 10 dissertation

Terms of Admission

1. Pass the admission examinations.
2. GPA not less than 4.13 from 5 (85%).
3. Not more than five years may have passed since the student received her bachelor degree.
4. TOFFEL score of at least (4.5)
