Class of 2019
Danyah Abdullah Althuneyyan. I graduated as an honor student from the Clinical Nutrition Department, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in 2019, and the Ideal student of 2018 of the College of Applied Medical Sciences. I had a chance after the third year to practice in the Royal commission Hospital in Jubail Industrial City, which prepares me before the internship year, that, in turn, increases my experiences in the field of Clinical Nutrition in three of the most prestigious hospitals in different cities in the Eastern Province. Even though the internship year coincided with the COVID-19 outbreak, the University had a significant role in making the internship successful. My appreciation goes to my department, represented by the chairman and the faculty, thank you all for your continued efforts, and I hope to repay your favors.

Hessa, that’s me. I’m a simple and spontaneous person. I detest hypocrisy, arrogance and selfishness. I’m always known to be an organized, loyal, sincere & short-tempered person. I graduated in 2016 and I was the ideal student of my beloved Clinical Nutrition Department in 2015. I hoped to return back to my department as a colleague of my dear respected teachers and Allah had accepted my prayers in 2018. My university years are a major, and a useful share of becoming who I’m today. I’m so grateful for my family, teachers, colleagues & everyone who made du’aa and wished me great luck. I aim to be remembered for my good efforts & reputation and also to be a great model for everyone who saw me as a good person. I wish for more achievements and success to my wonderful department.

My name is Fay Jalawi AlMutairi, and I graduated from the Department of Clinical Nutrition at the University of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal in 2016. My first career journey started at AlMouwasat Hospital in Dammam where I gained first valuable essential experiences and practical skills in real life by participating in establishing AlMouwasat Clinical Nutrition Outpatient Clinic. After two years working in almost Hospital, I moved on to work at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam where I had the opportunity to join and work with the front lines teams at the health quarantines to confront the Corona pandemic against our nation. I have learned a lot during my academic and career journey; however, ever since I join the front lines against covid-19, I have realized the importance of my role in the clinical field where mistakes can not be tolerated. Today my goal is to improve the Clinical Nutrition practices applied in the field, as well as to achieve the health goals at both the individual and community levels. and along the way, we will always remember the Clinical Nutrition Department faculty who taught us all the knowledge and skills we need to reach our goals and thank them for the continuous support and care we get from them

Fay Ibraheem Albahussain, Clinical Dietitian at the King Fahd University Hospital, Khobar. I graduated as a first honor student from the Clinical Nutrition Department, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in 2015. After graduation, I volunteered at Dr. Ahmed Algarzaie Center for Bariatric Surgery. Then, I started my first work experience at King Fahd University Hospital as a pediatric dietitian. Although I have never thought of specializing in pediatrics, I found that it is a really interesting specialty that involves several fields. I also participated in supervising the enteral feeding of the long term patient care which was my old interest since I was a student. Recently, I joined The Saudi Society for Clinical Nutrition Eastern Province as a board member. Clinical Nutrition is a multidisciplinary specialty. Completing the training in all the various fields, during the internship year, is essential to determine your area of interest.
