About the Unit
The Technical Systems Unit was established by a decision of the President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University on 10/5/2021 corresponding to 27/2/1443 AH to achieve the eighth strategic objective of the university by adopting development plans that support digital transformation.

Mission
To provide the necessary technical consultations for projects and centers under the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, while working on the continuous evaluation of all digital services provided, to achieve the essential quality in these services and efficiency in the resources directed to digital transformation.
Objectives
- Design and develop integrated technological solutions that meet the needs of the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support and facilitate digital transformation processes by providing technological solutions to all centers and departments under the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs.
- Monitor and measure the performance of technological systems within the Vice Presidency periodically to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality assurance.
- Provide technical support and training to users to maximize the benefits of available technological systems.
- Oversee the regular updating of the Vice Presidency’s web pages to ensure accurate, up-to-date information is available to beneficiaries and to improve user experience
