- Studying the best local and international practices in aligning programs with the needs of the labor market.
- Identifying and studying the most important data sources related to the alignment of academic programs with the labor market.
- Analyzing data related to Development and the labor market needs.
- Forecasting the future of academic programs enrollment based on supply and demand.
- Providing data that supports decision-making regarding the creation, closure or development of academic programs.
- Preparing training packages to guide academic programs alignment with the requirements of the labor market

- Coordinating meetings between representatives from IAU colleges and selected sectors of the labor market; regarding academic programs review and creation, or training and qualifying competencies, and improving learning outcomes. The most prominent of these sectors are the following:
