About

The notion of establishing “PDAEH” stemmed from IAU modern approach in accordance with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision towards strengthening the principle of strategic partnership between the university and all sectors of the community. 

We are considered among the most important services provided by IAU, represented by the Institute of Consulting Studies, which aims, in the first place, to utilize the university's various capabilities in order to transfer the available knowledge and experience into economic projects serve the community.

In this context, " PDAEH " was established to benefit from the knowledge and capabilities of faculty members to be converted into projects benefit the community through providing consulting and training services in their fields of specialty to both the governmental and private sectors as well as civil community institutions.

Scope of Work

• Consulting and Research Studies Services:

To provide various advisory and academic services to public and private educational institutions and civil society institutions, including launching and evaluating academic and educational plans, designing academic courses, and studies related to management and operation of the preparatory and common year (first university year).

• Training Services:

To provide training services develop the beneficiaries' skills according to their specialized fields, including the development of teaching skills and methods, building tests, applying quality standards, active learning, devising extracurricular activities, developing scientific research skills, leadership skills and self-development, and other training courses that support the development of the educational and professional process along with serving local and regional community.

• Evaluating and Developing of Academic Programs:

We provide development and review services for academic programs to ensure the compliance with the labor market and local and international accreditation standards. We also study academic problems related to academic courses and provide solutions for their development. Furthermore, we evaluate and develop academic plans for university-first-year programs and develop the in-place academic course specifications per specialty.

• Preparing and Developing Strategic Plans:

We take part in drafting the vision and mission and study the current situation of the academic institutions. We also offer the services of defining the objectives of academic institutions and methods of achieving them as well as drafting and developing strategic plans, developing, and identifying projects related to their completion, developing a follow-up system for the implementation of strategic plans, and prepare a performance-evaluation system.
