About Institute for Research and Medical Consultations (IRMC)
Scientific research is considered one of the key points that embody the Mission of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University. This is mainly attributed to the attention in research given by our Kingdom’s wise leadership, which is aligned with the directives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Research, Development and Innovation Authority has identified the National Research Priorities aiming to enhance the Kingdom's competitiveness and global leadership, and strengthen its economic position.
The Institute consists of the following departments: Genetics Research, Stem Cell Research, Epidemic Diseases Research, Clinical Pharmacy Research, Neuroscience Research, Nanomedicine Research, Biophysics Research, Environmental Health Research, and Nuclear Medicine Research. It also includes the following supporting units: Animal House Facility, Electron Microscopy, Biobank, and Bioenergy.
The Institute looks forward to developing fruitful and long-term research partnerships with local, regional, and international researchers to enhance the Kingdom's competitiveness in research and innovation.
