Objectives
- To invest the capabilities available at the university in terms of laboratories, simulation software, and expertise of faculty members in providing consultation services to external parties and buildings market in the field of energy consumption.
- To provide innovative and distinguished engineering solutions that reflect the university's scientific and creative position in field of buildings-energy conservation.
- To provide training courses, workshops, and training consultations for community various interested categories.
- To create training opportunities for university students to develop their capabilities through involving them in research consultation work.
- To strengthen the link with governmental and private sectors, which enhances the perspective of community service.
- To develop financial resources through contracts of services (feasibility study, research, consultancy) with governmental and private sectors.

- Laboratory tests of thermal properties of building materials and thermal insulation.
- Training, education and workshops in the areas of sustainability, green buildings and energy conservation.
- Energy efficiency studies and audits of existing buildings.
- Environmental and indoor air quality studies of buildings.
- Consultations about the efficiency of air conditioning systems.
- Consultations about the solar energy.
- Training courses of energy simulation programs.
