Course Description
The last in a sequence of two, Production Drawings-2 builds on previously constructed knowledge to help students produce complete executive drawings of unit details, fixtures and technical systems in a complete medium-sized interior design project. The course focuses on defining various interior design elements in the building by planning, labeling and specifying them properly in relation to the interior space then drawing all detail and technical system drawings. Outcomes include plans, sections, specification tables for fixed unit details, complete technical drawings for unit details i.e. fixed seat, flowerpot, fountain, display unit, display sign, cashier counter, raised floor, etc. The drawings also include reflected ceiling plans, water works, electrical works and HVAC, security, fire detection and blow out systems.
