Course Description
Production Drawings -1 is the first part of the two Production Drawings courses. It teaches students how to communicate executive documents that include technical information and finishing specifications of a complete interior design multi-level building, focusing on interior details. This includes all the production drawings, specification tables and details in appropriate scale, using new technology and contemporary materials to be ready for execution by the site engineer. Students learn universal technical symbols and indications as well as understand structural functionality.
Outcomes include specifying all finishes, structural elements, detailed plans, detailed sections and internal facades with call-outs of details, detailed staircase and doors & windows’ types and specifications. Students shall use all knowledge acquired from all technical drawing courses they learned in previous years (Materials Applications- Building Construction Methods- Working Details 1 & 2).
