Course Description
This course enables the student to acquire the necessary skills in clinical situations to permit him to understand Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) instrumentation and to undertake MRI examinations of certain body parts. This course is a buildup on previous course (MSRD 416) designed to involve the student within the working environment of Magnetic Resonance medical scanner. The student will be able to know the MRI scanner physics and MRI instrumentations. The student will be able to correctly position the patient in the couch for different MRI examination of the head, abdomen, thorax and extremities with and without contrast media. Special emphasis is placed on special MRI producer.
