Course Description
This course includes eight semesters, starting with a review of international finance with a comprehensive view, then addressing the balance of payments, followed by a presentation of international financial institutions, foreign investment, as well as international exchange rates and markets, as well as a study of international cash flows, in addition to the topic of multinational companies, then finished studying the global trading system.
Course Aims
By the end of the course the student will be able to acquire the following skills and knowledge:
- Understand the concept, importance, and scope of international finance.
- Realizing the importance of the balance of payments and its applications.
- Familiarity with international financial institutions and their pivotal role in the international financial and monetary system.
- Analysis of foreign investment, its forms, and contributions to international finance
- Understand international exchange rates and markets and their applications and distinguish between their theories.
- Familiarity with the international financial system and analysis of the mechanisms for the transfer of its funds.
- Learn about multinational companies and their role in the international capitalist system.
- Understand the international trading system and methods of settling disputes arising from it.
