Course Description
The course covers the basic principles for the merger of companies in Saudi Arabia and how to prepare consolidated financial statements in the merging period and the following periods, in addition to the mutual operations between the holding company and subsidiaries in the field of fixed assets and goods.
Course Aims
- This course aims to develop technical skills to students through a combination of theoretical foundations and practical applications to become professionally qualified accordance with the requirements of contemporary professional and labor market needs with respect to the following accounting topics:
- Understanding the basic principles for the merger of companies
- Understanding the basic principles of corporate holding and consolidated financial statements.
- The preparation of the consolidated financial statements in the merging period and in the following periods
- Accounting treatment for mutual operations between the holding company and subsidiaries in the field of goods and long-term assets.

- Accounting for accession and integration of companies.
- The preparation of the consolidated financial statements on the date of control.
- The preparation of the consolidated financial statements later of control date.
- Accounting treatment of the exchange of goods between group companies.
- Accounting treatment of the exchange of fixed assets between group companies.
