Course Main Objective
This course aims to explain how to deal with the professional ethics of a librarian upon practicing his daily work, laws of publication and freedom of expression, how to use books and information scientifically along with observing intellectual property and copyright as well as learning about the national, regional and international organizations and institutions concerned with intellectual property.
Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
- 1.1 Explain the most important basic concepts of ethics of information and e-publication and most important international organizations and institutions concerned with the intellectual property rights.
- 2. Skills
- 2.1 Analyze laws concerning the intellectual property rights regarding the traditional information resources and observe those instructions related to the e-publication rights.
- 2.2 Use communication and information technology in learning about information ethics.

- 3.1 Bear collective responsibility.
