Course Main Objective
This course aims to make students acquainted with the main concepts of creativity and innovation in libraries, design thinking in libraries, strategies of creative and innovative thinking through training on creative solution and role of creative leadership and its ability to innovate and create innovative environment.

- 1.1 Explain the essential concepts of creative and innovative thinking and the importance of creativity and innovation in libraries.

- 2.1 Analyze the components of creative environment in libraries.

- The essential concepts of creative thinking (definition, importance, characteristics, procedures, skills, obstacles)
- The essential concepts of innovative thinking (nature, concept, importance, features, basics, levels, obstacles).
- Features of innovative personality and strategies of creative and innovative thinking.
- Creativity and innovation in libraries.
- Design thinking in libraries.
- Importance and bases of administrative creativity in libraries.
- Creating the innovative environment in libraries.
- The creative leadership and its role in creating innovative environment.
