Course Main Objective
At end of the course, student will be to:-
1- Identify the geographic dimension of trade and its role in the sustainable development.
2- Analyze the factors affecting trade.
3- Interpret the relation between population and trade movement.
4- Identify aims of trade organizations and how to make use of them.
5- Compare among types of trade domestically and internationally.

- 1.1 Define trade-related concepts and the relation between the natural and human factors with trade and its contemporary trends.

- 2.1 Differentiate among role of each factor affecting trade.
- 2.2 Employ the quantitative methods, maps, and GISs in analyzing and interpreting spatial information.

- 3.1 Appreciate teamwork principle and bear individual and collective responsibility.

- The natural factors affecting trade.
- The human factors affecting trade
- Domestic trade and its types (retail trade- wholesale trade).
- Commercial malls.
- Foreign trade and its theories.
- Trade regions and blocks in the world.
- Geography of e-commerce and application to KSA as a model.
