The main objective of course is This course aims to introduce students to the commonly used technological tools in translation that are available to assist and support translation practice as required in the translation profession today. In particular, this course familiarizes students with the main Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, which include translation memory systems (TMS), terminology management systems, machine translation (MT), corpus tools and project management tools. |
