Objective
The course is focuses on advanced speaking skills. It covers high level rhetorical communication skills by giving oral presentation and contributing to classroom oral activities based on various types of prompts (visual, audio and video materials). The course also covers oral argumentation, and coherent organization of spoken discourse, and “standard” English speech.

Content
- Part 1: Scenarios
- Three stages of role play scenario (rehearsal, performance, and debriefing) are applied on each scenario.
- Part 2: Discussion and presentation skills
- Discussion skills: (giving your opinion, agreeing and disagreeing, explaining, making suggestions, interrupting, questioning, reporting…..etc)
- Presentation skills:(structuring your presentation, style, delivery, visual aids, making it interesting)
- Part 3: Class Seminars
- Preparing a presentation, using visual aids, handouts and notes, signposts and language signals, non-verbal communication, and asking and dealing with question.
- Mid-Term PowerPoint Presentation
- The evaluation of students’ midterm PPT is conducted during class hours due to students’ numbers.
- Individual Final PowerPoint Presentation
- The evaluation of students’ midterm PPT is conducted during class hours due to students’ numbers.
- Final Oral Exam
