Objective
This course deals with English grammar in a practical way for the purposes of production (speaking/reading) and comprehension (listening/writing). It also serves as an introduction to basic linguistic terminology to prepare them for the course on Syntax and Morphology. Building on the knowledge and practice done in the ‘English Grammar’ course about parts of speech and the building blocks of phrases, the various verb tenses, this course aims to further develop students’ knowledge and ability to analyze and produce different sentential structures.
