Objective
The course aims at teaching basic grammatical elements and sentence structures. Topics covered include parts of speech, phrases, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, countable and noncountable nouns, and types of sentences. Students will do exercises to train them in using these elements and structures correctly in their spoken and written English.

- Basic parts of speech (verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverb, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions).
- Main verb tenses.
- Types of English sentence and phrase structures.
- Count nouns and non-count nouns, articles, and pronouns.
