Course Description
This course will enable students to understand the basic process of life in molecular terms using the cell as a unit of molecular study, recall the major metabolic diseases and summarize the molecular basis of diseases. In addition, students will be able to distinguish between normal and abnormal metabolic pathways and perform routine biochemical tests. They will have the ability to lead a group of students in accomplishing an assignment and to operate various tools and instruments commonly used in a biochemistry lab to perform biochemical tests.
