Course Main Objective
The main objective of course is to make student able to explain the general framework of the Economic Geography structure and its general components along with reviewing the importance of economic activities and their developmental dimensions as well as analyzing the spatial differences of such activities and reasons beyond and knowing the problems of economic development and the solutions thereof.

Course Content:
Definition of Economic Geography, the field of economic geography, its methodology and relation with other sciences, the concept of economic resources and their classification and how to preserve them.
- The concept of economic production, the natural components of economic production and the human components of economic production.
- The natural factors affecting production such as weather + water resources+ soil.
- Vegetation cover + natural animals+ metal raw materials.
- Human factors (population+ living standard+ scientific development and technical progress).
- Primitive and advanced crafts.
- Types of economic production.
