Course Description
The preparation of a professional portfolio is an essential part of transitioning from graphic design student to a working designer; a robust professional portfolio provides the necessary foundation for the development of a successful career in design. The course will guide students in improving their existing portfolio, developing new work, and presenting their portfolios to prospective employers in a compelling way. Following the review and critique of their portfolio of work from previous courses, students will work with the course instructors to further develop and/or enhance existing work and initiate and complete new works. This course will result in the individual development and presentation of a body of design work that constitutes a professional graphic design portfolio.
