Course Description
This course covers the foundation for the study and application of organizational behavior. Organizational Behavior (OB) is a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and organizational dynamics and systems have on human behavior within organizations. Attention is given to the micro (individual) perspective (perception, personality and attitudes, motivation, and emotions), the groups and teams (group dynamics, conflict, stress, power and politics), and organizational culture and change.

1. Explain the terminology associated with organizational behavior.
2. Understand the systems approach as applied to human and organizational behavior.
3. Understand the components of effective organizational behavior.
4. Understand and analyze human behavior at individual, group, and organizational levels.
5. Learn the effect of culture on human behavior within a multi-cultural business environment.
