History and Civilization of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Course Description

The course contains a review of the historical and civilizational aspects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its cultural heritage, and the efforts of its rulers in building the political and civilized state and their role in serving Arab, Islamic and humanitarian issues, and achieving Vision 2030 in the field of tourism and national heritage.

Course Aims:

This course is designed to help students:

•  Explains the history of the Kingdom and its cultural heritage through the ages and its employment in the tourism and national heritage sector.
•  Explains the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Arab, Islamic and humanitarian issues.
•  Compares the development of the economic, social and security conditions of the Saudi state in its historical stages.
•  Takes responsibility for self-learning and working within a team.

•  Introduction to the course on the history and civilization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
•  The strategic importance of the geographical location of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its impact on the emergence of civilization
•  The historical and cultural roots of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
•  The Arabian Peninsula in the Islamic era
•  The first Saudi state (the establishment of the state)
•  The first Saudi state (the fall of the state and the manifestations of civilization)
•  The second Saudi state (the establishment of the state) The second Saudi state (the fall of the state and aspects of its civilization)
•  The third Saudi state: King Abdelaziz and the unification of the country
•  The third Saudi state: the declaration of the unification of the country - the civilizational renaissance Kings of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the civilizational renaissance in their era.
