Course Description
The course addresses a category that often does not receive sufficient attention and care: gifted individuals with learning difficulties. In this course, students will explore the concept of dual exceptionality and discuss the historical scientific literature related to this group. They will learn to distinguish between the characteristics associated with giftedness and those related to learning difficulties, as well as the best methods for identifying these individuals and assisting them in addressing their challenges in reading, writing, and mathematics. Furthermore, the course will cover ways to develop their talents.
