Course Description
This area of emphasis focuses on the knowledge, theory and techniques necessary for thorough understanding of the nature of design process and practice. The courses offer the essential information in planning, organizing, leading and controlling design projects with reference to recent development in management theories (reengineering, lean theory, … etc.) and IT application (modeling and simulation). Students are expected to investigate and relate issues learned in this area of emphasis to the current local practices in the design profession.
