Dr. Nahed Omar Al Ateeq, the Head of the Department of Arabic at the College of Arts, recently participated as a judge in awarding the 2015 Board of Trustees for the Preservation of Arabic Language and Literature prize.  This international award, given semi-annually,  is sponsored by the Sumou Society, one of Sumou Holding Company's subsidiaries. The prize is given to honor those who advocate, advance and promote Arabic language and literature and to encourage the next generation to carry on this culturally significant work.
