Hackathon: Applications to Improve Healthcare
The President of IAU, Prof. Abdullah Al-Rubaish, opened on Tuesday, 1 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1444 H, September 27, 2022, the activities and works of the Saudi High Performance Computing Conference and Exhibition for the year 2022 in its eleventh session under the slogan (Using High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence to Accelerate and Improve Medical Research), which is organized by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, and lasts for three days, with the participation of elite specialists at the level of universities and scientific and international centers, distributed over (39) scientific and technical sessions, workshops and discussion panels along with Hackathon of Artificial Intelligence Applications to improve health care with contest for the best scientific poster.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Rubaish stated that this conference comes as an extension for the role of the university and an honest translation of its mission in creating and finding opportunities for meeting and exchanging experiences where the university, represented by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, sought to host the Saudi Conference and Exhibition for High Performance Computing 2022 in its eleventh session under the slogan (Using High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence to Accelerate and Improve Medical Research). A title complies with IAU orientations, its research identity and its interest in health care and biotechnology as well as consistent with national efforts in digital transformation in health sector as one of the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
