Dr. Al Rubaish Launched UOD's "Dafeh" Social Initiative.
This past Sunday, September 14, 2014, Dr. Abdullah Al Rubaish launched UOD's new social initiative, Dafeh. This event was sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Studies, Development and Community Service and was representated by the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development.
Dafeh is an initiative supported by the Ministry of Higher Education that is focused on disaster preparedness in order to ensure that the local community is trained and prepared in the event of a natural disaster or an emergency situation. UOD is working in cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Defense and has enterened into a strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco in this iniative and has received exclusive sponsorship from Al Muhaidib and Sons Group.
