The Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development recently launched their new DAFEH website, which is assessable through the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development’s page on the University’s website. This informative site will answer questions such as: What is DAFEH? and What is the DAFEH Student Club? The site also presents DAFEH’s strategic plan for 2015-2017 and presents an overview of the various projects that have been developed during the program’s first three years, including operational plans, training packages, electronic surveys, timetables and documentary images in addition to the latest DAFEH news.
On the occasion of the launch of the DAFEH website, the Office of the Vice President for Studies, Development and Community Service and the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development would like to convey their sincere thanks and appreciation to the University of Dammam’s President, HE Dr. Abdullah M. Al Rubaish, for his continuous support and encouragement of the national DAFEH program.
Appreciation and thanks are also extended to the Vice President, Dr. Fahad Al-Muhanna for his interest in the national DAFEH program and his acknowledgment of its importance and the significant role it plays in the Department of Safety and Security at the University.
Special thanks go out to the Dean of Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Saad Al Amri, and his team for their technical support and professional guidance that made the release of the DAFEH website possible and allowing the culture of volunteer work in safety and civil protection to spread.
And a final thanks is extended to the Deanship of Community Service and Sustainable Development family for their untiring efforts in developing, maintaining, directing and running the DAFEH website; all in a sustainable manner.
