Try and Show it 2
Sponsored by the Guidance and Council Unit, Tafa’awl Club held a “Try and Show it” event on Wednesday 22 of Rabi I, 1438H. At the College of Education in Jubail.
The event focused on the importance of teamwork among students and aimed at raising awareness and motivating them to explore their hidden talents.
The students signed up online choosing from various hobbies such as: Painting, Photography, Writing, Singing, Acting, Calligraphy and Elocution.
The jury chose the best talents by interviewing them and at the end, they selected participants to present their talents to the audience and the best performance for each talent was awarded based on votes.
Together We are Complete
The Special Education Department at the College of Education, Jubail held a three-day event to participate in the International Day of People with Disabilities, (Friday – Saturday – Sunday) 1-2-3/4/1438 H. At Dhahran Mall.
The event was to serve the community and aimed to notify families who have disabled children about available centers in the Eastern Region that could provide them with specialized consulting.
The main objective was to educate families on how to deal with their children’s needs.
Hand-Made
The Innovation and Scientific Research Club held a Hand-Made activity on Tuesday 20 Rabi I, 1438H the activity aimed at encouraging students to display their talents and distinctive projects which will enhance their creativity and to equip them for the local market.
The activity included several corners. Each corner showed a project made by graduates such as mobile maintenance, gift wrapping, food, photography and perfumes.
The corners were beautifully organized and the students were professional in dealing with their customers. Other undergraduate students visited the corners and wrote down their positive feedback about the activity.
At the end, there was a vote for the best corner and performance. The audience chose the best corner and the students who directed the corner were rewarded with prizes such as mobile phones, note-books and chargers.
1436/1437 H Awards Ceremony
The College of Education, Jubail held a ceremony to honor 129 students with excellent degree for the year of 1436/1437 H.
(39 students were from the Computer Science Department, 30 students from the Kindergarten Department, 22 Students from the Special Education Department, 18 from the English Language Department, 8 from the Primary Level Teachers Department, 7 from the Mathematics Department and 5 from the Physics Department).
The ceremony started with the National Anthem, followed by the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Wad’ha Al Safraa.The ceremony was presented by Buthainah Al Qahtani and commenced by then a procession of the excellent students and followed by a speech by the Dean of the College Dr. Dalal Al Shangiti and the students' speech was presented by Shahad Al Jameel. At the end of the ceremony the Dean honored the excellent students.
