The Deanship of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the commencement of scholarships for the students admitted in 1445 AH academic year.
Applications will be received on the following dates:
- Start Date: Monday, 01/04/1445 (16/10/2023).
- End Date: Monday, 15/04/1445 (30/10/2023).
Scholarship Terms and Conditions:
- The applicant should meet admission general terms, in addition to terms related to admission program as specified by the college academic department.
- The scholarship should not exceed 50% of the program total fees.
- The number of students granted the scholarship should not exceed 10% of each program.
- Applicant had not received another scholarship by IAU.
- Scholarship is only for master’s degree. Doctorate and Medical Fellowship are NOT included.
Categories of Scholarships:
- Excellence Scholarships: For Saudi students who have an outstanding academic record, according to paragraph (A)/article (13) of the administrative and financial regulations of graduate studies programs, in addition to below terms:
- Applicant has a registered patent or excellent grade in bachelor stage.
- Minimum (6) score of IELTS or its equivalent in other standard tests of English language.
- Scholarship covers 25% of the program total fees.
- Scholarships for Social Insurance dependents: For Saudi students who cannot afford to pay the full program fees, according to paragraph (A)/article (13) of the administrative and financial regulations of graduate studies programs. This Scholarship covers 25% of the program total fees.
- Scholarships for IAU staff and their dependents (First-degree relatives): Scholarships allocated for IAU staff and their first-degree relatives to enhance their academic capacity and skills, according to paragraph (A)/article (13) of the administrative and financial regulations of graduate studies programs. This Scholarship covers 35% of the program total fees. The applicants for this scholarship must meet the following terms:
- The employee should obtain approval of the authorized manager before the commencement of the program.
- The number of employees from a given college/deanship/institute/departments should not exceed 5% of the number employees per that college/deanship/institute/departments.
- The employee performance evaluation must be excellent for the last two years with no violations on his job record.
- Special Scholarships: for dependents of martyrs and those injured during performing a national duty with 50% covering out of the program total fees, according to paragraph (A)/article (13) of the administrative and financial regulations of graduate studies programs.
How to Apply?
- Fill in the scholarship application form
- Submit the application to the department in the period specified for submission.
- Your application will be referred by the Deanship of Graduate Studies to the respective college for review by the councils of the college and the department.
- The application will be sent from the respective college to the Deanship of Graduate Studies for review by the supervisory committee of administrative and financial affairs of graduate studies programs.
- Issuance of the approval by the supervisory committee of administrative and financial affairs relevant to graduate studies programs.
