The Information Science program has obtained the conditional accreditation of programs from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
As a continuation of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU) pursuit to achieve its aspiring plans of developing the academic programs and as a continuation of success made by the College of Arts in different areas, the Information Science program has obtained the conditional accreditation of programs from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission represented by the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation (NCAAA) for the period starting from May 2024- April 2026.
The said accreditation is considered a recognition of the distinguished academic programs offered by the university and a real reflection of its efforts in collaboration with the colleges in developing the academic programs according to a comprehensive systematic integrated plan to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
It is noteworthy that the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation (NCAAA) is considered one of the centers reporting to the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and aims to promote the quality and the excellence in the higher education institutions and their academic programs through the processes of evaluation and academic accreditation.
