Scouts belonging to the Deanship of Student Affairs at IAU, participated in the public service camps, which are supervised by the Saudi Arab Scout Association to serve the guests of Baitullah during the Haj season of the year 1443H.
In this context, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Ali bin Tared Al-Dosari, stated that the university prepares the environment to the students to gain skills and talents through extra-curricular activities as well as to enable the “scouts” with scientific and practical experiences enable them to serve the pilgrims (Rahman -Guests).
Al-Dosari said: “We are all proud of serving pilgrims during the holy month of Ramadan, and in Haj season every year for it is a trust and responsibility should be hold by all the generations of this beloved country where club members play an important pivotal role to contribute with their partners in guidance and serving pilgrims through several stages, among them are; training on guidance skills, issuing of booklets, issuing of directive maps along with implementing and documenting processes” through a preparatory camp where 11 training workshops are provided to the participants.
