In cooperation with the Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility (EPCSR), the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU) launched the Associate Diploma Program in Social Responsibility under “Ufuq” 7th electronic campaign. The application period starts from 1/4/2024 until 1/11/2024.
Her Highness Princess Abeer Bint Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of the Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility (EPCSR), stated that activating such programs helps in achieving and delivering the strategic goals that meet the needs of the society especially in the social programs. She added this diploma will contribute to knowledge enrichment, and it will fill the professional need for social responsibility specialists, particularly in the private sector.
Her Highness indicated that the program comes within the principle of promoting and enabling social responsibility for students, which in turn will achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision in the field of sustainable social responsibility programs and initiatives. Her Highness also appreciated the interest of IAU in activating such enriching programs that will contribute to clarifying the precise scientific approach that touches on the reality of social responsibility.
His Excellency the President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Prof. Abdullah AlRubaish, confirmed that this cooperation with EPCSR contributed to the launch of the “Associate Diploma in Social Responsibility” program at the College of Arts as well as announcing several other diplomas in the College of Arts and the Collage of Applied Studies. These diplomas aim at keeping pace with the renewed requirements in the job market as well as raising the scientific competence of those who hold a high school diploma or its equivalent in specializations that qualify them to be a basic structure in the renaissance and progress of the society. AlRubaish added that the university appreciates and values the sound directives of Her Highness Princess Abeer Bint Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the Chairwoman of EPCSR Board of Trustees, in creating a professional diploma that follows the international standards of social responsibility.
