Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, represented by the General Administration of Human Resources, announced an increase of employees promotion rate in 97% for both faculty and administrators for the year 2023, which is higher than the rate in 2022. It is part of the university’s strategic plans for a supportive work environment that follows the nomination and comparison procedures of Implementing Regulation for human resources in the Civil Service.
On this occasion, His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Rubaish, congratulated those who got the promotions and thanked everyone for their efforts, wishing them a continuous success. His Excellency added that enabling government entities to promote tenth rank and below employees comes in line with the National Transformation Program 2020 as well as the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. It is also allows the university to manage its human resources through shifting to decentralization to enable the human resources department to achieve its strategic role and raise the quality of the government employee’s performance and productivity. He also stressed on that the university continuously reviews the lists of the employees who have completed the eligibility requirements for promotion.
The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the University, Prof. Abdulwahed bin Hamad Al Mazrou said that the promotions that were approved came as an implementation of the directives of His Excellency the University President to support the university’s employees, and to motivate them. It also came to support the competence of the employees and to strive to raise their morale and grant them all their rights in complete transparency, in accordance with the rules and regulations in force. His Excellency also thanked the employees of the General Administration of Human Resources for their great efforts that contributed to this achievement.
For his part, the General Director of Human Resources, Mr. Abdullah Aburas, stated that in 2022 the promotions that were approved are (175) male and female employees from various job ranks, and (158) academic staff, whereas in 2023, the promotions that were approved are (459) male and female employees of various job ranks and (198) academic staff.
