The fourth year students of the Department of Islamic Studies recently held an exhibition fulfilling the curriculum activity, focusing on political systems.  Dr. Sharifa Al Safi, head of the Department of Islamic Studies, sponsored the event that was supervised by Dr. Fatimah Al Kaltham and Dr. Haifa Bakhishwain. The Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Amirah Ahmed Al-Jafary, opened the exhibition, which was well attended by vice deans, department heads, faculty and staff along with college and public school students. The exhibition featured several intriguing, creative booths, which were admired by the attendees.

Besides being informative, this exhibition was a small token of the community’s deeply held appreciation to the nation’s faithful leaders and brave soldiers within the Kingdom as well as those protecting its borders. The event highlighted every citizen’s obligation in pledging his/her allegiance to the King.  Conditions of allegiance include:  listening and obeying, advice and support and the importance of living peacefully in a community where there might be differences in opinion, ideology or religion.
