The College of Arts in IAU held a Corporate Social Responsibility Day in Al Rashid Mall on Thursday 16 of March, 2017.
The event aimed at:
- Introducing and helping people become aware of the community impact that the Academic departments in the College of Arts provide in and out of the Eastern Province.
- To clarify the role of the faculty members in the College of Arts in serving the community.
- Activating the role of students in serving the community by inviting agencies that have the same interests to participate in the evet.
The event consisted of many educational and awareness booths that were organized by the different departments in the College. (Arabic Language, English Language, Geography and Library and Information Science Departments.)
Finally, a wide range of visitors attended the event and they amounted up to 2000 visitors.
