The Islamic Department in the College of Arts held its First Scientific Forum titled "Moderation and Achieving Security" on Tuesday 27 Muharram 1439 H under the patronage of Dr. Amirah Ahmed Al-Jafary, Dean of the College of Arts and supervised by Dr. Haifa Ahmad Bakhshwein, Head of the Islamic Department. The forum consisted of six sessions that revolved around the different fields of moderation and its role in achieving intellectual, ideological, economical, social and political security. The number of participating researches amounted up to 29 researches. The forum was concluded with an advice to make moderation a life style and a fixed standard that is linked to values such as justice and welfare.
